My dear son...

When I gave birth to you, you came with no instruction manual or guidelines.

All I knew was no matter what happens.

I will always love you and be there for you…

Felt like I won the world’s biggest award

That much happy I was

At first glance I felt that so called love.

May be that’s what’s called love at first sight

With a mind full of love, expectation, fear, anxiety and happiness

 I took you home...

Motherhood is a choice you make every day.

It is an unconditional feeling.

Where you put someone else’s happiness and want’s first

That’s what I heard.

But you taught me it was ok if you want to sleep through.

It’s ok if you want to have that last piece of cookie.

But my love towards you will never change.

Sometimes I do things wrong.

Sometimes I go crazy totally.

Trust me …

 I was trying to be flawless even in my worst days.

You imparted me there is actually something called patience.

 I could do things which never in my dreams I thought I would be doing.

I cuddled you.

I played with you.

I grew up with you.

And as I watch you grow

As much happiness I feel inside

That much I am sad that you are growing so fast.

How wonderful the world is now you are also a part of it

You will get to do whatever you want to.

You can learn whatever you want to.

But I want you to be cautious.

And do your part in this world being brave.

My dear son, this is my promise to you.

I will always love you.

I will always be in front of you to cheer.

I will always be behind you to support.

And my baby you will always be...
